Does insurance cover windshield repair or replacement?

How long does a windshield replacement take?
Installation itself is usually 45–60 minutes. The adhesive needs time to cure before it's safe to drive, which we'll walk you through on site — typically under an hour for modern urethane.
Chip repair or full replacement — which do I need?
As a rule of thumb, a chip smaller than a quarter and outside the driver's direct sightline can usually be repaired. Longer cracks, damage at the edge, or anything in your line of sight typically means replacement. Send a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Do you really come to my home or office?
Yes — that's most of the job. Driveway, office lot, job site, or the shoulder of the LIE, our technicians carry everything needed to repair or replace glass wherever your car is parked.
What is ADAS calibration, and do I need it?
Many newer vehicles mount a camera behind the windshield for lane-keep assist or automatic braking. Replacing the glass can shift that camera's aim, so it needs to be recalibrated afterward — we handle this in-house as part of the replacement.
